PAVA Operations Manager Job Announcement
The Pan American Vocology Association (PAVA) is excited to announce a new job opportunity to support the day-to-day operations of the organization. PAVA is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, independent person to serve as the new PAVA Operations Manager. This flexible, part-time, independent contractor position will work an average of 5 - 10 hours/week, with an hourly rate range of $25 - 35/hour (depending on experience). The primary responsibility of this position is to provide technical and organizational support to the PAVA Board of Directors and volunteer committees. Specific duties include but are not limited to:
Provide project management support for board operations
Manage the PAVA Google Workspace permissions and organization
Schedule Zoom meetings for the board and committee members
Attend and take minutes at the monthly board meetings
Follow up on items requiring action from board meetings and other communications, with guidance from the President or another board member
Perform website maintenance/updates (Wild Apricot platform)
Be available for all committee chairs as needed to support their projects
To be considered for this position, the following qualifications are desired.
Highly motivated to serve an arts organization
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently
Strong communication skills
2 years of customer service, management, or nonprofit governance experience
Project management experience
Proficient with Google Workspace (GSuite), Zoom, and a website CMS (preferably Wild Apricot)
Multi-lingual proficiency in English, Spanish and/or Portuguese is preferred
